Hi All,
I'm getting married in May 2010 and just wondering about the post wedding party. Are most of you having one? Any advice of tips would be great, thanks.

I'm getting married in July 2010 and we are having a party the day after the wedding. We decided to do this based on what all of our married friends and family have said. The party after the wedding is such a great event because the stress of the wedding day itself is gone and it's a chance to chill out and get to speak to people you may not have seen on the wedding day itself.
I've been to more than a few at this stage and the party after the wedding is sometimes better fun than the wedding itself. So my advice is go for it and get booking now.

We're getting married on 30th December 2010 and we're having a party the following day to bring in the new year. I think most people are having an after party now, they normally start round 5 or 6pm and carry on till around ten but i think we'll be staying to ring in the new year. We have a band booked already as it's such a busy time of year.
