Looking for wedding shoes at the moment and am wondering what happens to the shoes after the big day. I want to buy lovely shoes but some of the shoes are very expensive and I feel it's a bit of a waste spending money on a pair of shoes I'm only going to wear once.
Any suggestions about wearing shoes other than traditional wedding shoes?!?
That sounds like a great idea....
Which shoe shop is that?
Hey there
It is a great idea, otherwise it's hard to justify spending big money on shoes you only wear for one day!
The shop is up in Galway. It Flanagans shoe shop in the Eyre Square Centre, Galway City. They send them away to England and have them back in a few weeks.
If you're not in the area, I'm sure other shoe shops would provide the same service.
Thanks a million JornieTerell
Looked into the shoe make over and found out I can have them dyed black after the wedding. I'm delighted and don't feel so bad spending the money on the shoes now.
Thanks
Next question is what happens to the dress!! (wonder what it would look like dyed black!!)

We just had our big day recently (the best day of my life so far).. I have just left my shoes back to the shoe shop where I bought them and they are going to send them away to be re-covered in black so I can wear them again and again.
Hope this helps.
